The event has already attracted both national and international buyers, media, models, designers and the fashion savvy, providing dynamic array of opportunities to network and engage with the art of fashion and the promotion of tourism to Pakistan.
4The KFW Red Carpet area features an exhibition space with stalls set up by Brands Just Pret, Gul Ahmed, Borjan, Turkish Airlines, Indian designer Karma, etc, according to the Dawn.
The choreographer for all the shows is Imran Kureishi with hair and make-up by Huma Tahir of Huma and Zara’s Salon assisted in male grooming by Bilal Khan, backstage management by Moiz Kazmi and model-cum-designer coordination and management by Sheharyar Shaukat and Muneer Mohammed.
This four-day fashion event is organized by Excellent Events and Entertainment (Pvt) Ltd. (Triple-E) under the aegis of the Pakistan Fashion Council (PFC), with support from both the International and National Chapter Pakistan of the World Fashion Organization (WFO).
Veteran stylist Tariq Amin is the creative and aesthetic consultant of KFW and will continue to set the mood and raise the bar for the fashion brands showcasing at both Karachi Fashion Week and later at Islamabad Fashion Week. Zeeshan Bari closed the segment and the Day 1 of the KFW to a lasting applause as Nadia, Iraj, Saima and other models paraded a collection that was magnificent on all counts.
